Türkçe'ye çevirisini yaptığımız bu yazı, Sünnilik, Şiilik ve Tasavvuf açısından Selçuklu dönemi İran'ındaki dini tutum ve cereyanları ele almaya çalışmaktadır. Müellif, dönemin önemli şahısları ve eserlerinden hareketle, . adı geçen bu mezhep ve cereyanların bu dönem zarfındaki dahili durumunu ve bunların diğer . mezhep ve cereyanlara karşı tutumunu ortay·a koymaya çalışmıştır. Selçuklu dönemi İran dini tarihinin sonrciki dönemlerdeki bazı dini-siyasiiçtimal gelişmeleri belirleyen biçimlendirici bir çağ olması yönüyle ehemmiyet ;:ırz etmesi, makaleye daha bir önem kazandırmaktadır.  

This paper which I have translated into Turkish attempts to examine the religious attitudes and movements in Iran in Seljuq period in terms of Sunnism, Shiism and Sufism. The author of the article, based on notable personalities of the period and their works, tries to show the interior condition of the religious sects and movements meıitioned above in Seljuq period and their attitudes towards other sects and movements. It is the importance of Seljuq period as a formative epoche in giving a directian to some religious-politicalsocial developments in later periods of religious history of Iran thatwhich renders the article more significant.
