YABANCI DİL OLARAK TÜRKÇE EĞİTİMİNDE KULLANILAN MATERYALLERİN AKADEMİK SÖZ VARLIĞI BAKIMINDAN DERLEM TABANLI İNCELENMESİ

Türkiye’nin içinde bulunduğu coğrafyada yaşanan siyasal, sosyal ve demografik aksiyonların neticeleri; çeşitli kamu kurum ve kuruluşlarının organize ettiği uluslararası öğrenci organizasyonları ülkemizde Türkçe öğrenmeye yönelik talebi ciddi oranda artırmıştır. Genel amaçlar etrafında Türkçe öğrenen bireylerin son yıllarda lisans ve lisansüstü boyutta eğitim süreçlerine dâhil olması akademik amaçlarla Türkçe öğrenmeyi gerekli kılmıştır. Özellikle Yurtdışı Türkler ve Akraba Topluluklar Başkanlığı tarafından burslandırılarak ülkemize lisans ve lisansüstü düzeyde eğitim için gelen öğrenciler A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 düzeyinde Türkçe öğrendikten sonra akademik amaçlarla Türkçe eğitimi almaktadırlar. Bu araştırmada da genel amaçlarla Türkçe öğretiminde kullanılan İstanbul ve Yedi İklim yabancı dil olarak Türkçe öğretimi C1 düzeyi ders ve çalışma kitapları ile Sosyal Bilimler için Akademik Türkçe ders kitabının söz varlığı derlem tabanlı olarak incelenmiş; en sık kullanılan 1000 kelime ve bu kelimeler arasındaki terimler tespit edilmiş; materyaller bu veriler üzerinden kıyaslanmıştır. İstanbul ve Yedi İklim C1 düzeyi materyallerinde en sık kullanılan 1000 kelime bakımından ortaklık düzeylerinin neredeyse aynı olduğu tespit edilmiş ancak materyallerde frekans değeri kıstas alınan parametre değerinin üzerinde seyreden terimlerin İstanbul setinde daha fazla olduğu tespit edilmiştir. Ayrıca her iki materyalin bünyesinde yer alan terimler incelendiğinde sosyal bilimler alanına yönelik terimlerin sayısı bariz şekilde öne çıkarken fen ve sağlık bilimlerine yönelik terimlerin geri planda kaldığı saptanmıştır.

A CORPUS-BASED EXAMINATION OF THE MATERIALS USED IN TEACHING TURKISH AS A FOREIGN LANGUAGE IN TERMS OF THE PRESENCE OF ACADEMIC WORDS

The consequences of the political, social and demographic actions in the Middle East; request for a Turkish-led learning with organizations of various public institutions and organizations which are controlled by Turkey have increased considerably. The inclusion of individuals who learn Turkish for general purposes in undergraduate and graduate education processes in recent years has made it necessary to learn Turkish for academic purposes. Especially the students who come to our country for undergraduate and graduate education by being granted scholarship by the Presidency of Turks Abroad and Related Communities, learn Turkish at A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 levels and then learn Turkish for academic purposes. In this study, the vocabulary of "Istanbul" and "Yedi İklim", which are used in Turkish teaching for general purposes, teaching Turkish as a foreign language C1 level course and workbooks and the academic Turkish textbook for Social Sciences were examined on a corpus basis; 1000 most frequently used words and terms between these words were determined; materials were compared on these data. It was determined that the partnership levels were almost the same in terms of the most frequently used 1000 words in Istanbul and Yedi İklim C1 level materials; However, it has been determined that the terms with frequency value f (3) and above in the materials are more in the Istanbul set. In addition, when the terms included in both materials were examined, it was found that the number of terms for the field of social sciences came to the forefront, while the terms for science and health sciences remained in the background.
