Klorürlü Ortamda Yumuşak Çeliğin Elektrokimyasal Davranışlarına Çakşır (Ferula Elaeochytris K.) Özütünün İnhibisyon Etkisinin Belirlenmesi
Bu çalışmada, yumuşak çeliğin elektrokimyasal davranışlarına çakşır (Ferula elaeochytris K.)ekstraktının inhibisyon etkisi, %3,5 NaCl çözeltisinde (pH=8,5) ve elektrokimyasal impedansspektroskopisi (EIS) kullanılarak araştırılmıştır. Çakşır ekstraktının farklı derişimlerde Nyquist ve Bodediyagramları elde edilmiştir. Yumuşak çeliğin yüzey morfolojileri taramalı elektron mikroskobu ilegörüntülenmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlardan çakşır ekstraktı, %3,5 NaCl çözeltisinde yumuşak çeliğinkorozyonunu azaltmaktadır. İnhibisyon etkinliğinin, çakşır ekstraktının derişimi ile değiştiği tespitedilmiştir.
The Effects of Ferula (Ferula elaeochytris K.) to Electrochemical Behaviour of Mild Steel in Chloride Medium
In this study, the effect of Ferula in the electrochemical behaviour of mild steel has been investigated in 3.5% NaCl solution (pH=8.5) using electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS). Nyquist and Bode diagrams were obtained in different concentrations of Ferula. The surface morphology of the mild steel was examined by scanning electron microscopy. The obtained results show that, Ferula inhibits corrosion of mild steel in 3.5% NaCl solution. It has been found that the efficiency of the inhibition is changed by the concentration of the Ferula extract.
