Her üretim sektöründe olduğu gibi tekstil sektöründe de amaç, minimum maliyette ve maksimum verimlilikte, müşteri ihtiyaç ve beklentilerinin karşılanarak ürünün üretilmesidir. Ürünün, istenen standartlarda üretiminin sağlanabilmesi için üretimi etkileyen parametrelerin optimize edilmesi ve bu optimize edilmiş şartların devamlılığının sağlanması gereklidir. Bu devamlılık proses kontrolü ile sağlanabilmektedir. Bu çalışmada kısa elyaf iplik eğirme sürecinde, proses kontrolüne yardımcı olabilecek bir bilgisayar programı tasarlanmıştır. Bilgisayar programı yazılırken Visual Basic 6.0 programlama dili kullanılmıştır. Bu program proseslerde meydana gelen hataların görülebilmesine veyorumlanmasına,ürün kalitesinin şu anki durumu ve kalitenin gidişatı hakkında yorum sahibi olunabilmesine imkan s ağlamaktadır. Ayrıca işletme içi dokümantasyon kalabalığından kur tutunmasına da katkı sağlayacaktır.

Like every production sector, the aim of the textile sector is meeting the customers' needs and expectations by the maximum productivity with minimum cost. To obtain the production of the product in expected standards, parameters that effect the production must be optimized and these optimized conditions must be uninterrupted. This continuity can be obtained by the Process Control. In this study, a computer program has been made to help the process control in the short fibers yarn spinning process. In the coding of this computer program, Microsoft Visual Basic version 6.0 programming language is used. By this program, experiencing and interpreting the errors in the processes, interpretation of current product quality and the observation of the situation of quality can be obtained. Furthermore, the program helps saving time from the superfluity of reporting in the administrating managing.
