Eşzamanlı mühendislik kavramının Türk inşaat sektöründe uygulanabilirlik düzeyinin irdelenmesi

Bu çalısmada, “Eszamanlı Mühendislik” (EM) adlı yeni bir yönetim anlayısının Türk Đnsaat Sektörü’ndeki uygulanabilirlik düzeyinin irdelenmesi amaçlanmıstır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda hazırlanan anket, sektörde yer alan yüklenici firmalara uygulanarak sonuçlar analiz edilmistir. Analiz sonuçlarına göre, bu yeni kavramın sektörde tam anlamıyla bilinmediği; üst yönetim desteği, personel eğitimi ve ekip çalısmasının yetersiz olması; proje sürecinde yer alan aktörlerin tasarım kararlarına eksik katılımı ve birimler arası bilgi alısverisinin etkin olmamasının, EM’nin sektörde yaygın kullanılmasına engel teskil ettiği yönünde bulgulara ulasılmıstır. Bu bulgular değerlendirilerek, söz konusu engellerin ortadan kaldırılmasına yönelik öneriler sunulmustur.

Analyzing the implementation level of concurrent engineering in Turkish construction sector

In this study, the implementation level of a new management approach, namely Concurrent Engineering (CE), in Turkish Construction Sector is studied. In this sense, a questionnaire survey has been practiced with the contractor companies in the sector and the results have been analyzed. According to the analysis results, the following findings are attained: the new concept is not exactly known in the sector; top management support, personnel training and teamwork are insufficient; the attendance of the actors, who are involved in the project process is lacking in terms of design decisions; and additionally, that the information exchange between the departments is inefficient. These findings create barriers for the common use of CE in the sector. By evaluating these findings, suggestions towards removing the above mentioned barriers are presented.
