Bileşik kesitli akarsu yataklarında iki boyutlu yöntemlerle debi tayini

Bir ana kanal ve taşkın yatağından oluşan bileşik kanallarda, taşkın sırasında oluşan debinin hesaplanması nehrin sadece yatak içinde akması durumuna göre daha zordur. Bileşik kesitli kanallardaki debinin hesaplanmasında kullanılan bir ve iki boyutlu yöntemler mevcuttur. Bu çalışmada, farklı pürüzlülüğe sahip bir deneysel çalışmaya ait bileşik kesitli bir kanalın debi taşıma kapasitesi, bir boyutlu Ackers (COH) yöntemi ve iki boyutlu Shiono-Knight Metodu (SKM) ile hesaplanmıştır. Hesap sonucu elde edilen teorik sonuçlarla, deneysel bulguların ve yöntemlerin birbiri ile karşılaştırılması yapılmıştır.

Determination of discharge capacity of compound channels with 2-D methods

During flood events, the computation of discharge capacity of a compound channel consisting of a main channel and its floodplains, is more difficult than when the river is flowing just inbank. There have been several one and two dimensional methods to compute the discharge capacity of a compound channel. Herein, the discharge capacity of a compound channel having different roughness that is used in an experimental study, is calculated by one dimensional Ackers (COH) method and two dimensional Shiono-Knight method (SKM). The comparison of theoretical values versus experimental results, and the comparison of methods with each other are carried out.
