Application of pseudo isotherms on the adsorption of basic blue 41 onto live activated sludge

In this study, adsorption experiments were performed using live activated sludge and a basic dye (Basic Blue 41). Data obtained from these experiments applied to the pseudo second-order kinetic rate expression. Regression analyses were performed in order to examine the applicability to the data to pseudo-second order kinetic expression. Results obtained from pseudo second order model, the applicability of pseudo isotherms on the adsorption of Basic Blue 41 (BB4J) onto live activated sludge were also examined. The results showed that pseudo-Freundlich isotherni ($R^2$=0.9437) described the adsorption system better than the other isotherms.
