Bazı tekstil boyalarının sulu çözeltiden giderilmesinde su bitkisi (Potamogeton natans)' ın adsorbent olarak kullanılması

Bu çalışmada sulu çözeltiden bazı tekstil boyarmaddelerinin giderilmesi için su bitkilerinden Potamogeton natans kullanılmıştır. Boyarmaddeler (Lanacron Red and Lanacron Brown) in kurutulmuş P. natans biyokütlesi kullanarak giderilmesi başarılı bir şekilde yürütülmüştür.

The use of aquatic plant (Potamogeton natans) as an adsorbent for the removal of some textile dyes from aqueous solutions

This study deals with aquatic plant Potamogeton natans for some textile dye removal from aqueous solutions. Removal of textile dyes (Lanacron Red and Lanacron Brown) from aqueous solutions by dried P. natans biomass has been carried out successfully. Contact time experiments were performed at 200, 400 and 800 mg/L dye solutions. During the contact time experiments, the amounts of dyes removed for Lanacron Red and Lanacron Brown dyes were 20,8, 114,2, 223,7 mg/g and 14,9, 101,3, 240,8 mg/g respectively. In addition, the extent of adsorption increased with the increasing initial concentration of the dye in solutions. Although the data used to derive the adsorption isotherm constants the data does not fit either Langmuir or Freundlich isotherms. However, the results showed that removal of dyes followed by the intra-particle diffusion model.
