Brusella Epididimoorşiti: Olgu sunumu

Bruselloz dünyanın birçok yerinde görülen bir zoo- nozdur. Brucella melitensis’in neden olduğu bruselloz birçok organın tutulabildiği sistemik bir enfeksiyon- dur. Epididimoorşit brusellozun en sık görülen genito- üriner komplikasyonudur, çocuklarda nadirdir. Bu yazıda bruselloz tedavisi ile dramatik olarak düzelen brusella epididimorşitli bir çocuk olgu sunulmuştur. (J Pediatr Inf 2012; 6: 161-2)

Brucella Epididymoorchitis: A case report

Brucellosis is a zoonosis found worldwide. Brucellosis caused by Brucella melitensis is a systemic infection that can involve any organ. Epididymoorchitis is the most frequent genitourinary complication of brucel- losis, but it is rare in children. We report a pediatric case of brucella epididymoorchitis who recovered dramatically with brucellosis treatment. (J Pediatr Inf 2012; 6: 161-2)
