The contamination of tuleramia from the saliva of cow to a two year-old boy: Case report by long-term observation

The contact of the societies dealing with agriculture and animals is very often with domestic animals and gnowing animals. The foods and beverages of such societies are not generally protected well against vectors, animals and animal wastes. So, it is inevitable that they are vulnerable to various zoonotic diseases. As there is no specific symptom and finding related to oropharyngeal form of tularemia, if it is not taken into consideration during the distinctive diognosis of upper respiratory tract infection, sporodic cases cannot be diognised and treated during the regular policlinical services. In this study we tried to present a case of a two-year old boy having high fever, ulcer lesions in the mouth, pharyngitis and submandibular lymphadeopathy but was mistakenly diagnosed and accordingly treated as pharyngitis/tonsillitis, instead of diognising as the oropharangial form of tuleramia contacted from cows.
