İzmir Beit Hillel Sinagogu’nun Tefila Defteri ve Mustafa Kemal Paşa’ya Hanoten Teşua Duası

İzmir Beit Hillel Sinagogu, Hahambaşı Hayim Palaçi’nin sinagogu olarak tanınır. Günümüzde restore edilerek Rav Palaçi Anı Evi’ne dönüştürülen bu yapıda Beit Hillel’e ait İbranice Hanoten Teşua Tefila’sının(Duasının) yer aldığı bir defterin fotokopisi sergilenmektedir. Defterin aslı, Jerusalem Central Archives for The History of The Jewish People’dadır. Tamamen Tora kaynaklı ve Yahudiliğe özgü bir dua olan bu Tefila, Mustafa Kemal Paşa’ya kurtuluşu ve başarıyı dileyerek başlamaktadır. Tefila Defteri’nin yazım ve kullanım tarihi ise, muhtemelen 1922 ya da 1923’tür. İzmir ve İstanbul Yahudi cemaatleri, Osmanlı Devleti yıkıldıktan sonra da, bu duayı okumaya devam etmişlerdir. İsrail Devleti’nin kuruluşu, söz konusu ritüelde herhangi bir değişikliğe yol açmamıştır. Türkiye Cumhuriyeti’nin kurulduğu tarihten günümüze dek; Birinci Cumhurbaşkanı Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’ten Onikinci Cumhurbaşkanı Recep Tayyip Erdoğan’a değin her Cumhurbaşkanı için, Hanoten Teşua Tefilası okunmuştur. Halen de okunmaya devam etmektedir. Hâlbuki Avrupa kentlerindeki pek çok Yahudi topluluğunun, ya bu eski duayı kapsamlı bir şekilde yeniden yazdığı ya da tamamen çöpe attığı bilinmektedir.

The Prayer Notebook of İzmir Beit Hillel and Hanoten Teşua Praying to Mustafa Kemal Paşa

İzmir Beit Hillel Synagogue is known as the synagogue of Chief Rabbi Hayim Palachi. Today in this building restored into Rav Palachi Memorial House, a copy of a notebook belonging to Beit Hillel, which contains the Hanoten Teshua Tefilah (prayer) in Hebrew is exhibited. The original of the notebook is in The Central Archives for the History of the Jewish People in Jerusalem. This Tefilah, which is completely Torah originated and a specific Jewish prayer starts by wishing success and salvation to Mustafa Kemal Pasha. The date the Tefila Notebook was written and used is probably 1922 or 1923. The Jewish communities in Izmir and Istanbul have continued to preserve and read this prayer in the Republic of Turkey, which was established after the collapse of the Ottoman Empire.The establishment of the State of Israel did not lead to any change in this ritual. From the date the Republic of Turkey was established until the present day; from the First President Mustafa Kemal Ataturk to the Twelfth President RecepTayyip Erdogan, for every President, Hanotene Teshua Prayer has been read and continues to be read. Where as it is known that, many Jewish communities in European cities have either rewritten this old prayer extensively or have completely destroyed it.
