Bu çalışmada, cevher ve kömür flotasyonunda kullanılan en son teknolojik yöntemlerden biri olan Jameson Flotasyon Hücresi irdelenmiş ve çalışma prensibi detaylı olarak anlatılmıştır. Konvansiyonel kolon flotasyon yöntemiyle karşılaştırıldığında pek çok üstün yanları olan Jameson Hücresinin en önemli avantajı her tane boyu aralığında yüksek randıman vermesidir. Atık su arıtımında da kullanılabilen Jameson hücresi, birtakım çevresel sorunların çözümünde de yararlı olabilecektir.

In this study, The Jameson Cell which is one of the latest technology used in both metal ores and coal flotation is described and its operating principle is explained, in detail. When it is compared to conventional column flotation it has many advantages. The most important one is to be able to use in large variety of particle size range with high efficiency. It can also be used in waste water treatment and it will be able to contribute in solving some environmental problems as well.
