Tungsten cevher ve konsantrelerinden çeşitli tungsten bileşikleri üretiminin ilk adı­ mı, malzemenin karakter ve tenörüne bağlı olarak, asit ya da alkali liçi yöntemlerine dayanmaktadır. Asit liçi yöntemlerinde tepkime ürünü tungstik asit olurken, alkali liçi yöntemlerinde sodyum tungstat olmaktadır. Asit ya da alkali liçi uygulamalarında elde edilen bu ürünlerden, çeşitli saflaştırma işlemlerinden sonra, tungstik asit, sentetik şelit, amonyum paratungstat (APT) gibi tungsten ara ürünleri eldesine gidilmektedir. Bu yazının amacı, tungsten cevher ve konsantrelerine uygulanmakta olan asit ve alkali liçi yöntemleri ile özellikle liç sırasında ortamda bulunabilecek çeşitli safsızlıkların davranışı konusunda bilgi vermektedir.

The first step in the production of tungsten compounds from tungsten ores and concentrates is the acid or alkaline leaching methods depending on the character and grade of the feed. The reaction product of the acid leaching processes in tungstic acid while it is sodium tungstatc in the alkalina leaching methods. The products obtained from acid or alkaline leaching methods, are converted to tungsten compounds such as tungstic acid, synthetic scheclite and ammonium paratungstate (APT), following several steps of purification. The aim of this paper is to summarize the acid and alkalina leaching methods used for tungsten ores and concentrates with special emphasis on the behaviour of the possible contaminants in the leaching media.
