Öğütme, enerji yoğun bir süreç olması nedeniyle çok iyi bir şekilde kontrol edilmesi gerekir. Pülp yoğunluğu, hem öğütme inceliğini ve hem de öğütücü ortam tüketimini etki­lediği için öğütmenin etkinliğini belirleyen en önemli parametrelerden biridir. Bu çalışma­da, pülp yoğunluğunun Küre piritli bakır cevherinin öğütülmesi üzerindeki etkileri araştı­rılmıştır. En uygun öğütme yoğunluğu olarak ağırlıkça %62,5 katı bulunmuş ve öğütücü ortam tüketiminin artan pülp yoğunluğu ile azaldığı belirlenmiştir

Because grinding is an energy intensive process, grinding circuits should be closely controlled. Pulp density, affecting both the fineness of the grind and the grinding media consumption, is one of the most important determining parameters for efficient grinding. In this study, the effect of pulp density on the grinding of the Küre pyritic copper ore was investigated. It was found that the most suitable pulp density was 62.5 percent solids by weight.lt was also determined that the increasing pulp density caused a decrease in the grinding media comsuption
