Bu makalede, kavrulmuş piritten demir İstihsali İçin yüksek fırınlarda kullanılabilecek kalitede pembe cevher peletlerl elde etme metodları kısaca gözden geçirilmiştir. Yüz yıldan beri bilinen Klorlu Kavurma Metodu ile yeni geliştirilmiş, L.DK. ve Kowa Beloo Prosesleri gibi Klorlu Buharlaştırma metodlarımn bir mukayesesi yapılmıştır.

In this article, a short review Is given about the existing methods of treating the pyrite calcines to produce purple ore pellets suitable for the Iron production in the blast furnace. A comparison Is made between the century - oldt Chlorldlzlng Boasting and the newly developed Chlorlnation Volatilization methods, namely L.D.K. and Kowa Selco Processes.
