Bu çalışma kapsamında, içinde bulunduğumuz yüzyılda üretimi bölgeler ve dünya ölçeğinde sürekli artış gösteren ve sanayinin önemli hammaddelerinden biri olan bakırın üretiminin önceden tahminine yönelik bir yaklaşım aranmıştır. Box-Jenkins yönteminin bilgisayar programı halinde uygulanışını içeren bu arayış, fiili üretimlerle tahmin edilen değerlerin uygun bir uyum sergilediğini, dolayısıyla bu yöntemin maden hammaddelerine yönelik üretim tahminlerinde kullanılabileceğini göstermiştir

The context of this study deals with the prediction of copper production which is an important raw material for industry and whose production shows a regional and global increase within the frame of our century. The study comprises the application of Box-Jenkins method with the help of the computer program. The results give rise to the fact that this method can be used as a tool for prediction of mineral raw material production
