Bu araştırmada Artvin-Murgul yöresi kompleks bakır-çinko cevherinin ilk defa Jameson flotasyon hücresi ile zenginleştirilmesi araştırılmıştır. Bu çalışma kapsamında flotasyonu özellikle oksitlenme ve tane boyutundan dolayı sorunlu olan Doğu Karadeniz Bölgesi Akarşen ocağındaki ince taneli kompleks sülfürlü bakır-çinko cevheri çalışılmıştır. Cevher numunesinin mikroskobik incelemeleri sonucu, cevherin mineralojik bileşimi ve serbestleşme boyutu tespit edilmiştir. Cevherin serbestleşme boyutu mikroskobik çalışmalara ilaveten ve mekanik flotasyon yöntemiyle de kontrol edilerek Jameson hücresinde zenginleştirilebilme olanakları araştırılmıştır. Jameson hücresiyle tek kademede yapılan zenginleştirme deneyleri sonunda %2 Cu içeren cevherden %12 Cu içerikli ürün %79 verim ile kazanılabileceği görülmüştür

In this research, the application of Jameson cell for the first time has been applied to Artvin –Murgul’s copper zinc ore. In the frame of the present study, complex copper-zinc ore, obtained from the Eastern Blacksea Region, was difficult to float characteristics due to the oxidization and fine liberation size was examined. The mineralogical features and liberation size were determined in the study and performance of the Jameson cell for the sample has been figured out. According to results obtained from the one stage of flotation, the floating part having 12% Cu grade with the recovery of 79% was obtained from the sample having 2% Cu
