Yetişkin Çölyak Hastalarının Glutensiz Diyete Uyumu

Amaç: Çölyak hastalığı intestinal emilim bozukluğu karakterizedir ve bilinen tek etkili tedavisi ömür boyu glutensiz diyete uyumdur. Glutensiz diyete uymak intestinal mukozayı önemli ölçüde iyileştirebilir ve morbidite ve mortalite riskini azaltabilir. Bu çalışmanın amacı yetişkin çölyak hastalarının glutensiz diyete uyumlarını incelemektir. Bireyler ve Yöntem: Toplam 45 yetişkin (13 erkek, 32 kadın) çölyak hastası çalışmaya alınmıştır. Bütün katılımcılara genel demografik özellikleri, beslenme alışkanlıkları ve glutensiz diyete uyumları ile ilgili sorular içeren bir anket uygulanmıştır. Gluten-Free Diet Adherence of Adult Celiac Disease Patients

Aim: Celiac disease is characterized by intestinal malabsorption and only effective treatment is lifelong strict adherence to gluten-free diet. Adherence to gluten-free diet can significantly restore intestinal mucosa, decrease morbidity and mortality. Aim of this study is to determine gluten-free diet adherence of adult celiac disease patients. Subjects and Method: A total of 45 adults (13 male, 32 female) participated in the study.
