ÖZET : Bu araştırma Satureja hortensis L. bitkisinden izole edilen uçucu yağın fitopatojen funguslara karşı antifungal aktivitesinin saptanması amacıyla yapılmıştır. Yağın antifungal etkisini test etmek amacıyla; Botrytis sp., Fusarium equiseti, Nigrospora oryzae, Phytophthora capsici ve Rhizoctonia solani olmak üzere toplam 5 tarımsal patojen fungus grubunda çalışma yapılmış ve uçucu yağın bu fungus türlerinin misel gelişmesi üzerindeki etkisi araştırılmıştır. Uçucu yağ 3 farklı doz ve 4 tekerrür olarak uygulanmıştır. S. hortensis’in uçucu yağının pozitif kontrole göre %50.50–91.07 arasında farklı funguslarda ve dozlarda misel gelişmeleri engellediği tespit edilmiştir. Anahtar Kelimeler:      Satureja hortensis L., Uçucu yağ, Nigrospora oryzae, Fusarium equiseti, Phytophthora capsici, Botrytis sp., Rhizoctonia solani, Antifungal etki    Satureja hortensis Essential Oil’s Antifungal Effect ABSTRACT : This study was conducted of essential oil which are extracted from Satureja hortensis L. evaluate the antifungal activities of oils against phytopathogenic fungi. To study the antifungal potential of oil, five important agricultural fungal pathogens such as; Botrytis sp., Fusarium equiseti, Nigrospora oryzae, Phytophthora capsici, and Rhizoctonia solani subjected to evaluate their mycelial growth under oil effects. The oil was tested in three concentration with four repeat for each pathogen.
