Otlatmanın Yonca ve Korunganın köklerinde biriktirilen yedek besin maddelerine etkisi

ÖZETMevsim boyunca otlatmamn sun'i mer'a kanşımındaki baklagilbitkilerinin köklerinde depo edilen yedek besin maddelerini neşekilde etkilediğini saptamak üzere girişilen bu denemede Kayseriyoncası ve yerli korunga bitkilerinin köklerinden 4 tekrarlamalıolarak alınan iimekler, O.2N H ıOS 4 ile hidrolize, Heinze ve Murneek'intarif ettiği Shaffer Somogyi metoduyla glikoza diinüştürülerekmiktarları titrasyonla bttlunmuştur.Otlatılan ve otlatılmayan sU/ı' i meralardaki yonca ve korungabitkilerinin yedek besin maddeleri bakımından karşılaştırmalarıyapıldığında; yoncanın genellikle korungadan daha fazla elverişlikarbonhidrat ihtiva ettiği, gerek otlafılan ve gerekse otlatılm/yandamevsim boyunca çok önemlifarklılıklarmeydana getirmesine karşılık;korunga bitkilerinin ihtiva ettiği elverişli karbohnidrat seviyesininyoncadan düşük olduğu ve elverişli karobonhidrat trendinin büyükölçüde değişiklikler göstermediği ve netice olarak kapasite dahilindeotlatmanın yonca ve korunga bitkilerine mevsim sonu hariç menfietki etmediği sonucuna vanlmıştır.SUMMARYTHE EFFECT OF GRAZING ON THE TOTAL AVAIBLE CARBOHYDRATE IN THE ALFALFA AND SAINFOIN ROOTS.This experiment was conductedat Atatürk University farm in Erzurum.Kayseri Alfalfa and Commen sainfoinwhich were grown in the alfal fa x grasssand sainfoin x grass pastures used byRandomized block design with fourreplication.Plant sampling for carbohydrateanalyses began on May 25, ı 970,shortly before the animals put thepasture and was repeated at 15 daysintervats during the grazing season.Twenty to 30 plants of each legumewere dug from each treatment on eachsampling date. The top growth wasremowed at the junction of root andstern, and the roots clipped to 15 cm.in length. The roots were washed,dried at ıoOoc for one hour and dryingwas completed at 700C.Total avaib1e carbohyodrates inthe root tissue were extracted fromduplicate 1/2 gram samples using 0.2N H2S04. An aliquat was analysedfor g1ucose by the Shaffer-Somogyimethod described by Heinze andM urneek and the result experessed aspercent total avaible earbahydrates ona dry weight basis (700C).During the growing season, itmay be concluded that the change ofİbrahim MANGAtotal avaible carbohydrate Ievels ofalfalfa roots which were grown undergrazed and ungrazed pastures werenot related to grazing but they wereeffected by climatic contitions andphysiologcal reations of plants.The total avaible carbohydratelevels of sainfoin roots were Iower atgrazed pasture than ungrazed. Excepttwo samples which were taken on 31.7.970 and 1.9.970, there were no statisticaldifferences between sainfoinsgrown under grazed and ungrazedpastures, during the growing season.Co.mparing the total avaible carbohydratelevels in sainfoin and alfalfaroots which were grown at grazed andungrazedpasture, in general, alfalfalevel is higher than sainfoin and alsothere was a significant ~hange duringthe grazing season. İn enontrast this,the total amount of ava.ib1e earbohydrateis lower than alfalfa and there werenot significant differences betweengrazed and ungrazed conditions duringthe grazing season.The results showed that grazingat the carrying capacity levels of pastureswere not affected on sainfoin andalfalfa plants.
