İNGİLİZCEYİ İKİNCİ DİL OLARAK ÖĞRENENLERDE SINAV KAYGISININ CİNSİYET İLE İLİŞKİSİ

Öz Dil öğretmenlerinin gözlemleri, öğrenci deneyimleri ve ilgili literatür, ikinci dil öğreniminde sınav kaygısının başarıyı olumsuz etkileyen bir faktör olduğunu göstermektedir. Bu çalışma, demografik özelliklerden biri olan cinsiyet ile İngilizce’yi ikinci dil olarak öğrenenlerdeki sınav kaygısı ilişkisi üzerine kuruludur. Araştırmada, 114 öğrenciye 22 maddeden oluşan sınav kaygı anketi uygulanmış, elde edilen veri, istatistik olarak çözümlenmiştir. Sonuçlar, cinsiyet ile sınav kaygısı arasında, sınav kaygısının doğurduğu güvensizlik, rahatsızlık ve olumsuz isteklendirme dışında anlamlı bir ilişki olmadığını göstermektedir.
