Mistisizmin Bağlamsalcı Okuması II: Mistik Tecrübe Bağlam İlişkisi

Öz Tarihsel tecrübenin neredeyse tamamında, farklı koşullara rağmen bir grup insan Hakikati, Mutlağı, Boşluğu, Gerçeği, Varlığı veya Tanrı’yı hiçbir aracı olmaksızın tecrübe ettiklerini ve bu tecrübeleri ile gerçek bilgiye ulaştıklarını anlatırlar. Bu tecrübeler, modern dönemde William James başta olmak üzere pek çok felsefeci ve teoloğun dikkatini çekmiş, mevut felsefi ve teolojik tartışmalar bağlamında mistik tecrübeyi açıklayan pek kuram geliştirilmiştir. Bunlar arasında mistik tecrübenin saf, dolaysız, evrensel bir Birlik tecrübesi olduğu karşısındaki en önemli eleştiri ise bağlamsalcı yaklaşımın (contextual approach) mistik tecrübenin içerisinde ortaya çıktığı bağlam dolayımıyla yapılandırılmış ve dolayısıyla da buna göre anlamlandırılmış bir tecrübe olduğu iddiasıdır. Steven T. Katz başta olmak üzere bu bağlamsalcılığı savunanlar, Kant’ın tecrübenin inşası ve Wittgenstein’ın dil oyunu anlayışı zemininde, mistik tecrübenin, mistiğin tecrübesi öncesinde bir dini veya mistik geleneğe dahil olmasından tecrübe sonrasında tecrübeyi yine bağlı olduğu bağlama göre yorumlamasına kadar mistik tecrübenin bağlamla ilişkisini göstermeye çalışırlar. Bağlamsalcı yaklaşımı tanıtmayı amaç edinen iki çalışmadan ikincisi olan bu makalede, önce bağlamsalcılığa göre tecrübe öncesi kullanılan dilin, tecrübe esnasında bilincin yönelimselliğinin ve mistik tecrübe sonrasında tecrübeyi ifadede kullanılan dilin tecrübenin yapılandırılmasına nasıl aracılık ettiği ele alınacak, ardından tecrübenin kendi bağlamında anlamlı olduğu sonucunun ortaya çıkardığı mistik çoğulculuğa yer verilecektir. Böylece mistik tecrübenin mevcut açıklamaları arasında öne çıkan bağlamsalcılığın temel çerçevesi netlik kazanacaktır.
