Cerrahi alan infeksiyonları

Nozokomiyal infeksiyonların en sık görülen nedenlerinden biri cerrahi alan infeksiyonlarıdır. Başta antimikrobiyal profilaksi olmak üzere cerrahi alan infeksiyonlarını önlemeye yönelik girişimler çok önemlidir. Bu yazıda cerrahi alan infeksiyonlarının sınıflandırılması, risk faktörleri ve koruyucu önlemler irdelenmiştir.

Surgical site infections

Surgical site infection is one of the most frequent nosocomial infections. Mainly antimicrobial prophylaxis and other precautions are very important to prevent surgical site infections. In this review, the classification of surgical site infections, the risk factors and preventive management were discussed.
