Yenidoğanda vekuronyuma bağlı uzamış kas gevşetici etkisi (olgu sunumu)

Özellikle böbrek yetmezliği olan hastalarda ve hemen her yaşta sıkça tercih edilen vekuronyumun yenidoğan yaş grubunda kullanımında dikkat edilmesi gereken bir çok faktör vardır. Bu olguda renal sistem anomalileri ile birlikte renal fonksiyon bozukluğu olan bir yenidoğanda ameliyat sırasında uygulanan tek doz vekuronyuma bağlı ortaya çıkan uzamış nöromusküler blok anlatılmakta ve bu durumun olası nedenleri tartışılmaktadır.

Prolonged neuromuscular blockade with vecuronium in a neonate

Many factors must be taken into consideration if vecuronium, which is preferred especially for patients with renal failure and for almost all ages, is to be used in neonates. This case study examines the possible causes of prolonged neuromuscular block in a neonate with renal system anomalies and renal function disorders.
