SUGAMMADEX: A NEW APPROACH IN THE REVERSAL OF NEUROMUSCULAR BLOCKADE

Nowadays, the procedure to speed the neuromuscular recovery is enabled by the use of anticholinesterases which interactwith the acetylcholin degradation and which speed the neuromuscular transmission. Sugammadeks is a member of ?-cyclodextringroup which is newly found for the neuromuscular reversal, is a molecule which has 8 glucose rings. It binds to rocuronium in aratio of 1:1 and it decreases its plasma concentration to zero. In this review, a detailed information about neuromuscular blockageand sugammadeks was given
