Sevofluran ve malign hipertermi: İki pediyatrik olgu nedeniyle

Bu çalışmada; sevofluran, süksinilkolin ve opioid indüksiyonu yapılan yarık damak-dudak operasyonu geçiren biri 11 aylık diğeri 2 yaşında iki malign hipertermi olgusu sunuldu. Semptomatik tedavi uygulanan ve yoğun bakımda takip edilen her iki olgu sekelsiz iyileşti. Olgular Kuzey Amerika Malign Hipertemi Kayıt Komisyonunca belirlenen klinik puanlama skalasına göre postoperatif değerlendirildiler.

Sevoflurane and malign hyperthermia: Two pediatric cases

In this study, malign hyperthermia was presented in which sevoflurane, succinylcholine and opioid induction were used in 11 month and 2 years old babies. Both cases recovered without sequeles after symptomatic treatment and intensive care unit observation. The cases were evaluated postoperatively according to North American Malignant Hyperthermia Registry clinical grading scale.
