Sentinel lenf nodülü biyopsisinde kullanılan subkutan izosülfan mavisi sonrası gelişen alerjik reaksiyon

Meme kanseri olan hastalarda, aksiler lenf nodlannın durumu; adjuvan tedavide yol göstermede, yaşam süresinin tahmininde ve prognozun belirlenmesinde en önemli faktördür. Sentinel lenf nodu biyopsisi (SLNB), aksiller lenf nodlannın evrelemesin-de düşük morbidite ile beraber minimal invaziv bir yöntemdir. Sentinel lenf nodu (SLN), % 1 izosulfan mavisi, Technetium (Tc)-99m, kolloid veya her ikisinin kombinasyonu ile belirlenebilir. Bu olgu sunusunda genel anestezi altında mastektomi operasyonu yapılan bir hastada izosulfan mavisi uygulaması sonrası gelişen alerjik reaksiyon tartışılmıştır.

The allergic reaction following isosulfan blue injection used for sentinel lymph node biopsy

Axillary lymph node status is the most important factor in estimating the survival, planning the adjuvant treatment and determining the prognosis of the patients with breast cancer. Sentinel lymph node (SLN) biopsy is a minimal invasive technique with lower morbidity in axillary staging of breast cancer. SLN can be identified by 1 % isosulphan blue, Technetium (Tc)-99m, colloid or combination of both. In this case report we presented a patient with breast cancer who developed allergic reaction following isosulfan blue injection during mastectomy operation under general anesthesia.
