Posttravmatik yağ embolisi sendromunda yaklaşım

Yağ embolisi sendromu uzun kemik ve pelvis kırıklarından sonra gözlenen bir komplikasyondur. Yağ embolisi sendromu sıklıkla solunum sıkıntısıyla ortaya çıkar. Ayrıca serebral yağ embolisine bağlı nörolojik bulgular da görülebilir. Bu olgu sunumunda iş kazası sonrası bilateral tibia kırığı oluşan ve yağ embolisi sendromu gelişen hastaya klinik tanı ve tedavi yaklaşımını sunmayı hedefledik.

Management of fat embolism syndrome: Case report

Fat embolism syndrome is a complication which occurs after long bone and pelvis fractures. Fat embolism syndrome frequently occurs with respiratory distress and also neurological findings may be seen due to the cerebral fat embolism. In this case we report a patient who had bilateral tibia fractures and related fat embolism syndrome after work accident.
