Hyperperfusion syndrome developed soon after internal carotid artery stenting
Carotid artery stenosis is an important risk factor for cerebrovascular events. Carotid endarterectomy and carotid artery s- tenting are treatment options used in carotid artery stenosis. In this case report we aimed at discussing an early developed hyper- perfusion syndrome in a 57-year- old woman who had undergone a carotid artery stenting protocol.
