BİR EĞİTİM ARAŞTIRMA HASTANESİ YOĞUN BAKIM ÜNİTELERİNDEKİ HASTA MALİYETLERİNİN ANALİZİ

Amaç: Yo¤un bak›m hizmeti pahal› bir hizmettir. Sa¤l›¤a ayr›lan bütçe k›s›tl›d›r. Bu sebeple kaliteli hizmet vermeye çal›fl›rken bu k›s›tl› kayna¤› en iyi flekilde kullanmak hastaneler için önemlidir. Bu çal›flmada hastanemizdeki farkl› yo¤un bak›m üniteleri (YBÜ) aras›ndaki hasta maliyetlerini dökümante etmek istedik. Yöntem: Hastanemiz yerel etik kurul onay› ve ilgili izinler al›nd›ktan sonra 2015 y›l› içerisinde Dahiliye, Beyin cerrahisi (NRfi) ve Anesteziyoloji (Reanimasyon) YBÜ’lerinde 24 saatten uzun süre yatan hastalar dahil edildi. Gerekli bilgiler hastanemiz bilgi ifllem birimi ve fatura birimlerinden elde edildi. Maliyet analizi yap›l›rken 3 bafll›k alt›nda incelendi. Bulgular: Çal›flmam›za Dahiliye YBÜ’sinde 179, Anesteziyoloji YBÜ’sinde 429, NRfi YBÜ’sinde 297 hasta dahil edildi. Hastalar›n demografik verileri, sigorta türleri, yat›fl süreleri, yo¤un bak›m sonuçlar› benzerdir. Hasta bafl›na düflen maliyet incelenirken her bir gider ayr› ayr› hesaplanm›flt›r. Kan tetkikleri, ameliyat giderleri, enfeksiyon parametreleri ve beslenme giderlerinde NRfi YBÜ’si di¤er iki yo¤un bak›mdan farkl› idi. COST ANALYSIS OF INTENSIVE CARE UNITS IN A TRAINING AND RESEARCH HOSPITAL

Objective: Intensive care is an expensive service. The budget allocated to health is limited. For this reason, it is important for hospitals to use this limited resource in the best way while trying to provide quality service. In this study we wanted to document the cost of patients between different intensive care units (ICU) in our hospital. Method: After having received ethics comittee approval, in this study patients which were admitted to the Internal Medicine ICU, Neuroseurgery ICU (NRS) and Anesthesiology ICU (Reanimation) in 2015 year was included. The necessary information was obtained from our hospital's chief staff of the Department of Information Technology and billing units. Results: The study included 179 patients in the Internal Medicine ICU, 429 patients in the Reanimation, and 297 patients in the NRS ICU. Patients' demographic data, types of insurance, length of stay, intensive care results are similar. NRS ICU was different from the other two intensive care units in blood tests, surgery costs, infection parameters and nutrition costs.
