Adolescent sexuality: International and national situation

Adolescent period is a developmental stage in which young people experience physical, emotional, cognitive and social changes. Adolescents are a group that constitutes a significant part of the population, feel like adults, and have not yet completed their development physiologically and psychologically. Because of these features, the fact that adolescents become sexually active causes a number of sexual health problems. Today, it is understood that adolescents are an important group that should be emphasized because of the risk of sexually transmitted infections, unwanted pregnancies, many sexual health problems and the increase in the number of sexually active adolescents globally. This article was made to examine the international and national and situation of adolescent sexuality
