GROWTH AND INTERN ATION ALIS ATION STRATEGIES OF MULTINATIONAL HOTEL CHAINS

Öz ln the study, growth phenomenon and strategies of international hotel groups and chains were examined. As international hotel chains enter a country, they make cooperation with their local partners. It is necessary to recognise the foreign hotel companies and their working methods in view of both local partner and national tourism industry in order to benefit considerably from this cooperation. On the other hand, multinational hotel groups constitute a good model for the internationalization of national hotel chains. As companies from countries such as South Cyprus, Cuba and Malta are in the international rankings of hotel chains, any Turkish hotel chain does not exist.
