DOĞRUSAL OLMAYAN YÜK BULUNAN TESİSLERDE GÜÇ FAKTÖRÜNE TOPLAM HARMONİK BOZULMANIN ETKİSİ

Bu çalışmada, cam sanayi tesisinde ve modern bir un üretim tesisindeki değirmenlerde güç analizörü ile ölçüm yapılarak harmonik bozulmanın tanımlanması ve bu harmonik bozulmanın güç faktörüne etkisinin tespiti yapılmıştır. Başka bir ifade ile çalışma doğrusal olmayan yüklerde toplam harmonik bozulmanın (THD) güç faktörü (PF) üzerindeki etkisini sunmaktadır. Dolayısıyla THD’nin güç faktörünü etkilemesi nedeniyle PF ve THD arasındaki ilişkiye odaklanılmıştır. Akımın toplam harmonik bozulma (THDI) değerine bağlı olarak dPF ile PF arasındaki fark grafiksel olarak incelenmiştir. Yapılan ölçümler neticesinde THD değerinin artmasına bağlı olarak PF değerinin de azaldığı gözlemlenmiştir. Çalışmada ayrıca güç analizörü ile yapılan ölçüm sonuçları IEEE 519-2014 harmonik standartları ile karşılaştırılmış ve akımın toplam harmonik bozulma değerleri (THDI) belirtilen standartın üzerinde olduğu tespit edilmiştir.

EFFECT OF TOTAL HARMONIC DISTORTION ON POWER FACTOR IN FACILITIES WITH NON-LINEAR LOADS

In this study, the definition of harmonic distortion and the determination of the effect of this harmonic distortion on the power factor were made by measuring with a power analyzer in a glass industry facility and a modern flour production facility. In other words, the study presents the effect of total harmonic distortion on the power factor at non-linear loads. Therefore, since the total harmonic distortion affects the power factor, the relationship between the power factor and the total harmonic distortion is focused. Depending on the total harmonic distortion value of the current, the difference between the displacement power factor and the fundamental power factor is examined graphically. As a result of the measurements, it was observed that the fundamental power factor value decreased due to the increase in the total harmonic distortion value. In the study, the measurement results made with the power analyzer were evaluated with IEEE 519-2014 harmonic standards and it was determined that the total harmonic distortion values of the current were above the specified standard.
