Yeni Bulgular Işığında Kaunos’a Atfedilen Makedon Krali Darpları

Nif Dağı Olympos , İzmir Körfezi’nin doğusunda, Kemalpaşa, Torbalı ve Buca ilçelerinin ortak sınırında yer almaktadır. Kuzeyinde Kemalpaşa Ovası, doğusunda Smyrna ile Sardeis arasındaki yolu Kaystros Vadisi’ne Küçük Menderes bağlayan ve Nif Dağı’nı Mahmut Dağı Drakon - Bozdağlar Tmolos silsilesinden ayıran Karabel Geçidi, güneyinde ise Torbalı Ovası yer alır1.
