A rare case of chondroblastoma of the acromion

We present a 37-year-old patient with a chondroblastoma in his right acromion. The acromion is anunusual site for this type of tumor and the typical surgical treatment involves resection of the involvedacromion bone. The patient was surgically treated with resection of the right acromion and autogenousiliac bone grafting. TwentyŞve months postoperatively, he demonstrated full shoulder function, withoutevidence of local recurrence or metastasis.© 2016 Turkish Association of Orthopaedics and Traumatology.
