Maksiller Sinüsü Destrükte Eden Büyük Dentijeröz Kist: Olgu Sunumu

Dentijeröz kistler odontojenik kistler arasında radiküler kistlerden sonra en sık rastlanılan lezyonlardır. Literatürde görülme sıklığı %9 ile %38 arasında belirtilmiştir. Dentijeröz kistler kemik rezorbsiyonuna yol açabilir ve maksiler sinüs ve nazal kavite gibi komşu anatomik bölgelere yayılım gösterebilirler. Bu makalede 35 yaşında erkek hasta, nazal kitleyi andıran, maksiller sinüsü ekspanse eden odontojenik kist olgusu sunulmuştur. Bu olgu sunumunun amacı burun kökenli kitleler yanında büyük odontojenik kistlerinde ayırıcı tanıda düşülmesini hatırlatmaktır

Large Dentigerous Cyst Involving The Maxillary Sinus: Case Report

Dentigerous cysts are the second most common odontogenic cysts after radicular cysts. The incidence of the disease was reported to be between the range of 9-38 % in literature. Dentigerous cysts may cause bone resorption and may manifest in invasions to adjacent anatomical regions like the maxillary sinus and the nasal cavity. This study presents a case of a 35-year-old male patient with an odontogenic cyst expanding to the maxillary sinus that appeared to be a nasal mass. The purpose of this case report is to remind that large odontogenic cysts should be considered in the differential diagnosis of masses of nasal origin
