Appendikste Apandisite Benzer Çap Artışına Neden Olan Sesil “Serrated” Adenom: BT ve Histopatolojik Bulgular

Sesil “serrated” tırtıklı adenomlar kolonun premalign lezyonları olup çekum ve asendan kolonda daha sık görülmektedirler. Apandikste görülme sıklığı azdır. Bu olgu sunumunda karın ağrısı şikayeti ile gelen 47 yaşında kadın hastaya yapılan bilgisayarlı tomografi incelemesinde appendikste çap artışı saptanmıştır. Appendektomi sonrası yapılan histopatolojik değerlendirmede appendiks lümeninde sesil “serrated” adenom bulunmuştur

Sessile Serrate D Adenoma Causing Diameter Increase In Appendix Similar With Appendicitis: Ct and Histopathologic Findings

Sessile serrated adenomas are premalign lesions of the colon and more oftenly seen in the cecum and ascending colon. Sessile serrated adenoma in the appendix is rare. In this case report, the diamater increase in the appendix in a 47-year-old female presenting abdominal pain was determined on the computed tomography examination. Sessile serrated adenoma was found on the histopathological evaluation after appendectomy
