Öz Özet: Bu çalışmanın amacı, 2004-2007 dönemi için TRA1 alt bölgesiimalat sanayinde faaliyet gösteren firmaların teknik etkinlik düzeylerini, verizarflama ve stokastik sınır analizi yöntemleri yardımı ile tahmin etmek ve ikiyöntemi mukayese etmektir. Bu yöntemlerle elde edilen etkinlik değerlerininkarşılaştırılması sonucu, iki yöntemin firmaların etkinlik ölçümünde önemliderecede farklılık oluşturduğu ortaya çıkmıştır.Anahtar Kelimeler: Stokastik Sınır Yaklaşımı, Veri Zarflama Analizi,Teknik EtkinlikAbstract: The aim of this paper is to compare and to estimate DataEnvelopment Analysis (DEA) and Stochastic Frontier Analysis (SFA) methodsby estimating technical efficiency in the manufacturing industry in TRA1 subsectorsfor the period 2004-2007.
