STRATEJİK DÜŞÜNMENİN BİR ÖNCÜLÜ OLARAK ELEŞTİREL DÜŞÜNME: YÖNETİCİLER ÜZERİNDE BİR ARAŞTIRMA

Bu araştırmanın temel amacı; stratejik ve eleştirel düşünme yetenekleri arasındaki ilişkileri araştırmaktır. Bu amaçla, Türkiye genelinde hemen her ilde faaliyet gösteren bir banka bünyesinde çalışan yöneticiler üzerinde bir araştırma yapılmıştır. Araştırmada anket yöntemi kullanılmıştır. Verilerin analizleri ile elde edilen bulgular, stratejik ve eleştirel düşünme biçimleri arasında olumlu yönde bir ilişkinin var olduğunu, eleştirel düşünmenin stratejik düşünmeyi anlamlı bir biçimde etkilediğini ve eleştirel düşünmenin stratejik düşüncenin önemli bir kısmını açıklayıcı bir güce sahip olduğunu göstermiştir. Bu araştırmadan elde edilen bulguların, hem yöneticilerin bu türdeki düşünsel yetenekleri kazanmalarına veya geliştirmelerine yönelik önerilerde bulunulabilmesi için bir zemin oluşturulmasında, hem de olguların farklı bir bakış açısıyla yönetim yazınına kazandırılmasında yarar sağlayacağı umulmaktadır.

The basic aim of this study is to research the relationship between strategic and critical thinking ability. For this purpose was carried out a survey on managers working in a bank almost everywhere at Türkiye. The questionnaire method was used in survey. Findings obtained from data analyzed, shown that there was positive relationship between strategic and critical thinking styles, critical thinking was effecting strategic thinking meaningfully and critical thinking had a strong explanatory to significally part of strategic thinking. The findings from this research are expected to be recommendations for benefit both managers to gain or improve their own intellectual skills and set a ground for looking at cases from a different perspective that it would be beneficial to bringing management literature.
