İŞLETMELERİN İHRACAT PERFORMANSI: BİBLİYOMETRİK ANALİZ

İhracat, işletmeler için yeni pazarlarda faaliyet göstermek, büyümek ve riski dağıtmak amacıyla kullanılan en yaygın uluslararasılaşma stratejilerinden biridir. İhracat performansı ise genel anlamda işletmelerin ihracat yoluyla elde ettikleri başarıyı ifade etmektedir. İhracat performansı, uluslararası literatürde uzun zamandır üzerinde çalışılan bir konudur. Bu çalışmanın amacı; dünyada 2000-2018 yılları arasında, ihracat performansı konusunda üretilmiş olan akademik çalışmaları bibliyometrik analiz yöntemi ile incelemek ve ihracat performansı konusunun tematik gelişimini bilimsel haritalama yolu ile elde etmektir. Araştırmanın örneklemi 2000-2018 yılları arasında Web Of Science (WoS) veritabanında yayınlanmış, başlığında ‘export performance’ kavramı yer alan akademik yayınlardır. 2000-2018 yılları arası 19 yıllık dönem, 2000-2009, 2010-2018 olarak 2 periyoda bölünmüş, ihracat performansı kavramının bu periyotlar içerisinde hangi kavramlar ile birlikte çalışıldığı, hangi kavramların hangi dönemlerde ortaya çıktığı, hangi dönemlerde ana konu haline geldiği, hangi dönemlerde azaldığı ve nasıl bir değişim gösterdiği bilimsel haritalama yöntemi ile elde edilmiştir.

EXPORT PERFORMANCE OF BUSINESSES: A BIBLIOMETRIC ANALYSIS

Export is one of the most common internationalization strategies for businesses to operate in new markets, grow and distribute risk. Export performance generally refers to the success of enterprises through exports. Export performance is a subject that has been studied for a long time in the international literature. The aim of this study; is to examine the academic studies that produced on export performance in the world between 2000-2018 by bibliometric analysis method and to analyze the thematic evolution of export performance by scientific mapping. The sample of the study is the scientific papers published in the Web of Science (WoS) database between 2000-2018 and the title of ‘export performance’. 19 years period between 2000-2009, was divided to 2 periods as 2000-2009, 2010-2018, and obtained by scientific mapping method the themes of export performance in these periods with which themes are working together, which themes emerged in which periods, which periods became the main subject, in which periods how it decreases and how it changes. The issue of export performance was examined in terms of the number of publications, the number of citations, the number of themes and the h-index, and it was observed that it developed in the second period. In the last period, the themas such as strategy, firm size, performance, productivity and innovation have emerged as the main thematic areas
