THE MEDIATING ROLE OF SUPPLY CHAIN FLEXIBILITY AND SUPPLY CHAIN EFFICIENCY IN TERMS OF THE EFFECT OF SUPPLY CHAIN INTEGRATION ON FIRM PERFORMANCE

The problematic of this study is to investigate whether supply chain flexibility and agility play a role regarding the impact of supply chain integration on firm performance. For this purpose, data were collected by surveys from 156 manufacturing firms operating in Istanbul. Structural Equality Model was established and analyzed. As a result of the analysis, it was found that supply chain integration has a positive effect on supply chain flexibility, supply chain agility and firm performance. It was found that supply chain flexibility significantly affected supply chain agility and firm performance positively. As a result of the mediation test, supply chain flexibility and supply chain agility play a mediating role regarding the impact of supply chain integration on firm performance.
