Tedarik Zinciri Yönetimi Uygulamalarının Zincir Performansı Üzerindeki Etkileri: Bir Uygulama

Tedarik zinciri performansı ve müşteri ilişkileri başarısı açısından dağıtım yönetiminin önemi bilinmekte ve literatürde dağıtım yönetimi konusunun ağırlıklı olarak işlendiği görülmektedir. Ancak, günümüzün zorlu rekabet şartlarında işletmelere yol göstermek açısından tedarik zinciri performansı üzerinde önemli rol oynayan başka alanlar da incelenmeli ve etkileri değerlendirilmelidir. Bu çerçevede, işletme başarısını etkilediği düşünülen talep yönetimi ve bunun yanında tedarikçi ilişkileri konusunun altında son zamanlarda popüler bir yaklaşım olarak kendini gösteren tedarik tabanı yönetimi konularının da ele alınmasının ve bir ampirik çalışmayla bu etkilerin değerlendirilmesinin yararlı olacağı düşünülmüştür. Bu düşünceden hareketle, çalışmamızda öncelikle talep yönetimi, dağıtım yönetimi ve tedarik tabanı yönetimi konularına ilişkin olarak literatüre dayalı kısa bir değerlendirme yapılmış, daha sonra bu alanların her birinin tedarik zinciri performansı üzerindeki etkilerini incelemeye yönelik bir ampirik çalışmadan elde edilen sonuçlar aktarılmıştır. Ankara ilinde yüksek hacimde imalat yapan 42 adet işletmeden toplanan verilerle yapılan analizler sonucunda üç temel sonuca varılmıştır. Bunlar; (1) hem talep yönetimi, hem dağıtım yönetimi, hem de tedarik tabanı yönetimi uygulamaları, tedarik zinciri performansı üzerinde pozitif yönlü etkiye sahiptir; (2) talep yönetimi ile dağıtım yönetiminin tedarik zinciri performansı üzerindeki etkileri birbirlerine çok yakındır; (3) tedarik tabanı yönetimi uygulamalarının tedarik zinciri performansı üzerindeki etkileri, talep yönetimi ve dağıtım yönetimine göre daha güçlüdür.
