Nüfus hareketliliği olgusu her zaman tarihte ve günümüzde önemli konular arasındadır. Yöneticiler ülkeye giden veya ülkeden giden nüfusun özelliklerini, göç nedenlerini bilmek, değerlendirmek ve tehdit olmama noktasında strateji üretebilmek için proje geliştirmektedir. Türkiye’de bu anlamda önemli bir göç bölgesi özelliğini korumaktadır.
