GELENEKSEL JAPON KONAKLAMA BİNASI “RYOKAN”

Bu çalışmada, Japonya’ya özgü ve kendi ortamı içinde şekillenen geleneksel konaklama binası; “ryokan” incelenmiştir. Japon geleneklerinin konaklama hizmetinin bünyesinde “banyo, yemek, yatak” özetlenebilir şekilde özel bir sunuma dönüşmesi ve ortaya çıkışından beri sunulan bu hizmetlerin içeriği bakımından da özgünlüğü dikkat çekicidir. Bu çalışmanın amacı; Japon kültürüne özgü geleneksel kullanımların bir konaklama binası bünyesinde sunumunun incelenmesidir. Bu amaçla geleneksel konaklama binası olarak bilinen “ryokan” incelenmiştir. Çalışmanın yöntemi; ryokan’ın özelliklerinin araştırıldığı literatür araştırmasına dayanır.
