ÜNİVERSİTE ÖĞRENCİLERİ İÇİN HIV/AIDS’E YÖNELİK ÖNLEYİCİ BİR PROGRAM: HIV/AIDS’e YÖNELİK PSİKO-EĞİTİM PROGRAMI

Bu  çalışma, HIV/AIDS’i        önleyici           bir program olan “HIV/AIDS’e Yönelik Psiko-Eğitim Programı”nı tanıtan bir çalışmadır.            HIV/AIDS’e    Yönelik            Psiko-Eğitim Programı, haftada        bir gün, yaklaşık 90 dakikalık, 8      oturumdan oluşmakta, HIV/AIDS hakkında bilgi verme,cinsellikle ilgili değerler, güvenli cinsel ilişki, kondom kullanımı ve karar verme davranışı gibi konuları kapsamaktadır. Programın      etkili olup olmadığı,  deney grubunda 21, kontrol grubunda 23 öğrencinin yer aldığı bir araştırmayla sınanmıştır. HIV/AIDS Bilgi Formu ve HIV/AIDS Tutum   Envanteri ile  toplanan verilerin analizinde, karışık            ölçümler için  iki yönlü varyans analizinden yararlanılmıştır. Araştırmanın          sonucunda,    HIV/AIDS’e   Yönelik Psiko-Eğitim Programı’nın öğrencilerin HIV/AIDS’e ilişkin       bilgi            ve         tutumlarını      olumlu yönde  etkilediği        ve         bu        etkinin uzun süreli      olduğu bulunmuştur.

A Prevention Program For College Students Regarding Hiv/aids: Psycho-education Program For HIV/AIDS

This study is a descriptive study about an HIV/AIDS prevention program,“Psycho-Education Program for HIV/AIDS”. The Psycho-Education Program for HIV/AIDS has eight approximately 90 minute sessions one day a     week and included such subjects as information about HIV/AIDS, values related to sexuality, safe sex, use of condoms, and decisionmaking           behaviours. The research tested the effectiveness of the program with 21 students in an experimental group and 23 students in a control group. In the analysis of data collected  with the HIV/AIDS     Information Form and the HIV/AIDS Attitude Inventory, two way analysis of variance is used for mixed measures. At the conclusion of the research it is determined that the knowledge and attitudes of students who participated in the Psycho-Education Program for HIV/ AIDS were positively affected and that this effect lasted a long time.
