Öğrenci̇leri̇n Hastadan İyi̇ Tıbbi̇ Öykü Alma Konusundaki̇ Görüşleri̇

Amaç: Atatürk üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi 3. Sınıf öğrencilerinin hastadan iyi tıbbi hikaye alma konusundaki görüşleri hakkında bilgi vermektir. Gereç ve Yöntem: Ders programımızda iyi bir hasta hekim görüşmesi nasıl olmalı ve tıbbi hikaye alma ders konuları bulunmaktadır. Öğretim üyesi tarafından 20-25 öğrenciden oluşan 10 farklı küçük grupta etkileşimli ders tekniğiyle tıbbi hikaye alma konusunda eğitim verildi (grup başına bir saat ayrıldı). Öğrencilere toplam 23 sorudan oluşan bir anket ders öncesi uygulandı. Öğrencilerle soru - cevap şeklinde tartışıldı. Dersten en az bir hafta sonra da aynı anket uygulandı ve bu dersin faydalı olup olmadığı hakkında öğrenci görüşleri alındı. Veriler 20.0 SPSS programına girilerek analiz edildi ve tekrarlayan ölçümlerde varyans analizi kullanıldı. İstatistiksel önemlilik düzeyi p 0,05). Eğitim sonrasında eğitim öncesine göre (grup içi) hasta-hekim görüşmesine başlama, bilgi alma ve plan yapma alt boyut puan ortalamalarının tamamında istatistiksel olarak önemli artış bulunurken (p0,05). Eğitim sonrasında öğrencilerin 171’i (%93,4) konuya farkındalıklarının artığını, 161’i (%88,0) hastayla görüşmenin göründüğü kadar kolay olmadığını bildirdiler. Sonuç: Hastadan öykü alma ve görüşmeyi planlandığı gibi tamamlama becerisi öğrenciye kazandırılması gereken önemli becerilerden biridir ve deneyim gerektirmektedir. Bu araştırma öğrencilerin eğitimden yararlandığını ve ilerleyen sınıflarda bu beceriyi pekiştirici başka eğitim aktiviteleriyle desteklenmesinin gerekliliğini gösterdi.

Students Views About Good Medical History Taking From Patient

Aim: The aim of this study is giving information views of third year medical students of Atatürk University Medical Faculty about medical history taking. Methods: The topics of how a good patient-doctor interview should be and medical history taking are covered in our curriculum. Interactive lesson is given by a faculty member to ten different groups which are consisting of about 20-25 students (One hour lesson for per groups). Before the class, a survey composed of 23 questions were applied to the students. It’s discussed with the students in the form of questions and answers. One week later the same survey conducted again and the opinions of students pertaining to if the lesson were helpful or not asked. The data were analyzed with the SPSS 20.0. Analyzes of variance were used in the repeated measures. Statistical significance level of p 0.05). Within group, in comparison of pretest and posttest; there were significant differences in the sub-dimensions mean scores of beginning patient-doctor interview, getting information and planning while there was no significant difference in the dimension of ending the interview (p>0,05). After the education, 171 students (93.4%) reported that their consciousness on the topic is increased, 161 students (88.0%) reported that talking to patient is not as easy as it seems. Conclusions: The skill of getting medical history and completing the interview as it is planned is an important skill; should be imparted to the students and it requires experience. This study showed that students got benefit from the education and education programs are required in the next years to reinforce this skill.
