Ç.Ü. Tıp Fakültesi 2004-2005 eğitim öğretim yılı açılışında ilk hafta dönem I öğrencilerine ilk kez uyum programı uygulanmıştır. Beş günden oluşan bu programın ilk üç gününde öğrencilere; • Ödül töreni, • Önlük giyme töreni, • Fakültenin tanıtımı, • Dönem I programının tanıtımı, • Pratik derslerin tanıtımı, • Elektif derslerin tanıtımı, • Medikososyal ünitesinin tanıtımı gibi aktiviteler yapılmıştır. Son iki günde ise öğrenciler 4 gruba ayrılmıştır. Her grubun film izlemeye, ilk adım modülüne, kütüphane tanıtımına ve konferansa katılımı sağlanmıştır. Bu çalışmada, öğrencilerin uygulanan uyum programından yararlanıp yararlanmadıkları geri bildirim ile alınmıştır. Öğrencilerin geri bildirimlerine göre uyum programının oldukça başarılı olduğu belirlenmiştir.

The adaptation program has been applied to the phase I students, at 2004-2005 academic year for the first time. In the first three days of the five-day-long program, certain activities have been done. Among which are; • Award ceremony, • Uniform wearing ceremony, • Introduction of the school of the medicine, • Introduction of the phase I program, • Introduction of the practical courses, • Introduction of the elective courses • Introduction of the community health centre. In the last two days of the program, the students have been divided into 4 groups. Each group has attended the activities of film screening, first-step modul, introduction of the library and the conference (about study skills). Through the feedback of students it has been determined whether they have utilized the program or not. It has been found that the adaptation program has earned a great success
