The Mumcipality of BugOJno 1s one of the major agrlcultural areas of Middle-Bosnian Canton. The valley of the Vrbas River once gave the ideal life conditions for prehistoric man, and a fertile soil enabled his early engagement in agriculture, cattle breeding, mining, Şshing and hunting. This paper contains informations about current state of soils and their vulnerabilities with special attention to degradation. Analysis is very useful for agricultural planning and waste management in Bugojno. Area of Bugojno is not a homogeneous in respect of topography, slope, temperature and other resource endowment. It is witness of geographical diversities. The important survey was conducted on almost 5% of local population to Şnd out main actors of degradation. During the survey to the sample farms in various settlements spread over the Bugojno municipality, it is noticed that most of the farmers are uneducated and unaware the proper cultivation methods of farming. The west part of the municipality is under intense pressure of erosion while eastern hilly region is under the pressure of deforestation, erosion, unsuitable cultivation and overgrazing. Agriculture is the most vital economic activity of man. The understanding of existing level of environmental soil constraints is essential for better planning management and development of the any agricultural area
