INNOVATION SCIENCE AND HIGHER EDUCATION: CLIMATE CHANGE AND RISK MANAGEMENT

The modern development of the world is characterized by significant changes, such as global climate change and socio-economic development of society. The attitude of mankind towards these changes is interesting: we want to slow down some changes that we consider undesirable (the pace of global climate change, population growth) and for this we use traditional methods of studying and making decisions, sometimes quite conservative. Others – we want to change (improving the quality of life of people, ensuring sustainable development of society, effective risk management), but do not know how. And while we are thinking and looking for ways and means of how to manage these changes, the world is changing rapidly. The task of today is to turn the greatest challenges in the history of mankind into opportunities for the survival and economic prosperity of countries and peoples. The time has come to fundamentally change the economic system in order to enable a green and innovative economy to come true through the sustainable revival and equitable distribution of vital resources.
