Bu çalışmanın amacı, Eğitim Fakültesi Okulöncesi Anabilim Dalı programında yer alan müzik eğitimi dersinin hangi düzeyde gerçekleştiğine ilişkin Okulöncesi öğrencilerinin görüşleriyle saptanması ve daha etkili bir müzik eğitimi dersi için öneriler sunmaktadır. Çalışma, mevcut durumun saptanmasına ilişkin betimsel bir araştırmadır. Araştırmanın örneklemini 2010-2011 öğretim yılında Pamukkale Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi,Dokuz Eylül Üniversitesi Buca Eğitim Fakültesi, Balıkesir Üniversitesi Eğitim Fakültesi ve Muğla Üniversitesi Okulöncesi Anabilim Dalı 4. sınıfında öğrenim gören toplam 263 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Veriler araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen bir ölçekle elde edilmiştir. Ölçeğinin Cronbach Alfa güvenirlik katsayısı 0.95 olarak hesaplanmıştır. Verilerin çözümlenmesinden elde edilen bulgular, müzik eğitimi dersi hedeflerinin orta düzeyde gerçekleştiğini ortaya koymuştur.

The purpose of this study to identify the level of music education lecture taking part in the programme of pre-school education in education faculty faculty from the students’ point of view and developing ideas for a more effective lecture. The study is a descriptive research to determine the existing situation. The exemplification of this research is constituted of total 263 4th class students studying in pre-school education in the education faculties of Muğla, Balıkesir, Dokuz Eylül-Buca and Pamukkale Universities. The data are obtained by a scale improved by the researcher himself. Cronbach Alfa dependablity coefficient of the scale is estimated as 0.95. The findings obtained from the analysis of the data put forward that this music education lecture is realized in medium level
